My name is Nena....: Maryland, United States; I'm a 40-something Filipino mommy, daughter, sister, friend, and appellate attorney, with a slight addiction to shopping, married to a white, 40-something mild-mannered corporate banker with limitless capacity to indulge my whims. We move nonstop and at a high rate of speed everyday to keep up with our kids, Skyler and Jagger, and our high-maintenance dog, Jetsam. We used to live in the city. But we gave it all up for a big house with a lawn in the suburbs. It's a tranquil setting for the madness of our routine. Whether I'm having a good day or a not-so-good day, one sentiment is always apt: I can't believe this is my life!
